Georges Noëllat / Maxime Cheurlin Noëllat

Georges Noellat was Charles Noellat’s nephew. Charles Noellat’s vines contributed to the creation of the Jean Jacques Confuron and Hudelot Noellat estates, as well as the Domaine Leroy estate. From 1990 to 2010, the rest of the vineyard was rented to Louis Jadot and Joseph Drouhin. In 2011, Maxime Cheurlin (aged 20 at that time), Mme Noellat’s grandson, took over the management of the Domaine Noellat estate and all the vineyards that its made of. Since his first vintage Maxime established himself among top winemakers of Burgundy. The quality remained absolutely high in all recent years although Maxime considers 2020 vintage as his best.
