This historic estate represents one of the oldest winemaking lineages in Burgundy, with the Clerget family present in Volnay since 1268. After the retirement of his father, Yvon, the domaine saw a revitalization in 2015 when Thibaud Clerget took over as the 28th generation. The estate manages 6 hectares of prime vineyards, primarily in Volnay and Pommard, but also including a parcel in the Grand Cru Clos de Vougeot.

The domaine is celebrated for its exceptional Premier Crus, notably Volnay "Caillerets", Volnay "Carelle sous la Chapelle", and Pommard "Le Clos du Verger". Thibaud has quickly gained a reputation for a style that emphasizes aromatic precision and silky textures. He employs a meticulous approach in the cellar, including careful sorting and a measured use of new oak, ensuring each cuvée is a transparent expression of its specific limestone-heavy terroir.
