One of the oldest estates in Marsannay, dating back to the reign of Louis XIII, Domaine Jean Fournier is currently led by the visionary Laurent Fournier. Laurent has been a leader in the village, pushing for the official elevation of Marsannay’s finest plots to Premier Cru status. The estate is certified organic and encompasses 16 hectares of old vines.

Laurent is a master of both Pinot Noir and Aligoté, producing wines that are deep, savory, and incredibly textured. Notable cuvées include Marsannay "Clos du Roy" and "Longeroies". By utilizing long barrel aging and often including a significant percentage of whole clusters during fermentation, he produces wines that rival the famous villages of the Côte de Nuits in terms of structure and complexity.
