As of early 2026, the 2025 vintage is being hailed as a return to "exceptional" status, though yields remain frustratingly low due to heatwaves and wind during flowering. It is a vintage that prioritizes quality over quantity.

 * The Profile: Initial reports from the cellars describe "superb whites" that sit somewhere between the richness of 2022 and the tension of 2014. The reds have deep color, fine balance, and "beyond reproach" maturity levels.

 * Regional Note: The Côte de Beaune whites are the early stars of the vintage, showing incredible sugar/acid balance. The Côte de Nuits benefited from a dry August that concentrated the grapes, promising structured, vibrant Pinots that will likely become highly sought-after collector items.
