Domaine des Chézeaux entered a thrilling new chapter in 2021 when it was acquired by Charles van Canneyt (of Domaine Hudelot-Noëllat) and his wife Anne-Sophie. Historically, most of the estate's prized vineyards were leased to other famous producers under métayage agreements. Charles has successfully recovered many of these parcels to vinify them in-house.

The domaine’s 3 hectares are heavily weighted toward Grand Crus, including a significant holding in Griotte-Chambertin, as well as parcels in Chambertin and Clos Saint-Denis. The winemaking style mirrors Hudelot-Noëllat, focusing on 100% de-stemming and very gentle extraction. These are wines of immense pedigree, built for long, graceful aging and representing some of the most exciting "new" old-vine bottlings in the Côte de Nuits.
